Services for Marshall "Cotton" Cook, 90, of Hughes Springs, will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 14, 2015 at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial will follow at Hughes Springs Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Mr. Cook will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Cook was born February 28, 1925 and passed away August 11, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Tommy Cook; four brothers; and four sisters. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Jerry Cook of Hughes Springs; one son, James Cook of Palm Desert, California; two grandsons, Fredrick Cook of Hughes Springs and Warren Cook and family of Oak Point, Texas. The family would like to give a special thanks to The Springs and Windsor Place Nursing Homes and Heartsway Hospice for the special love and care they provided.
