Graveside services for Mary Lynn Pratt Bradley, will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday December 30, 2014 at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Hughes Springs, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 6:00-8:00 Monday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Bradley went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 25, 2014. She was born March 10, 1926 to Charles and Ruth Pratt in Rocky Branch, Texas. She grew up in Daingerfield and graduated from Daingerfield High School. She then attended East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Teaching. It was there that she met the love of her life, Dr. Bradley. She would go on to teach at the Judson Schools of Longview and Pleasant Grove Schools of Dallas. She later moved to Hughes Springs to help her husband establish his dental practice. Mrs. Bradley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 61 years, Dr. O.C. Bradley, Jr., who passed away in 2010. Mrs. Bradley was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hughes Springs and had a true love for the Lord. Her family was her greatest joy. She will be remembered for her warm, inviting smile and loving sweet disposition. She was on of the kindest people you could ever hope to meet. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Tresa Bradley of Hughes Springs; one daughter, Judy Bradley Hitzelberger of Hughes Springs; three granddaughters: Jessica Bradley, Terrance Bradley, and Brianna Morrow; three great-grandsons: Erik Haynes, Eyan Bradley, and Garrison Cook. To all the staff and residents of Theron Grainger Nursing Center and Heart to Heart Hospice; Thank you!

  1. Please accept my sympathy on the loss of your mother. She was a fine lady, and I have known her my whole life when I used to go to the dentist. Both your parents were fine people. I know you will miss them.

  9. I am so sorry for your loss. Mary Lynn and Dr. Bradley were 2 of the sweetest, and Lord loving people I had the honor to be related to. Elizabeth Ann and I loved them so much.
