Services for Mary Qualls, 88, of Avinger, will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 12, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Avinger. Burial will follow at Avinger Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.

Ms. Qualls was born October 15, 1930 in Hughes Springs and passed away April 10, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church in Avinger, she loved and was loved by everyone, was a good citizen of this world, made beautiful quilts and had the opportunity to sing with the Stamps Quartet.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Archie Lee Qualls; parents, Charles and Faye Rhyne; children, Darrel Ray Qualls, and Tony Lee Qualls; and brother, Kenneth Rhyne.

She is survived by her children, Connie Qualls Amox and husband David, Terri Qualls Johns and husband Ralph, and Gail Qualls Hatcher; loving grandchildren, Jason Johns and wife Jessica, Travis Johns and wife Melissa, Colt Amox and wife Hailee, Wendi Hatcher, Stacie Simon and husband Tony, Tracie Ethridge and husband Tony; great-grandchildren, Cameron Johns, Skylar Johns, Jaylen Johns, Corey Johns, Hudson Amox, Ira Johns, Delilah Cochran, Ritchie Reed, Tanner Reed, Felicia Garavuso, Michael Clark, Kaylynn Handy, Wesley Carlson; siblings, Lloyd Rhyne and wife Melba, Treba Scott and husband Hal, Elaine Spence and husband, Randy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
