Maxine Fitzgerald Baggett was born June 12, 1933, in Carlisle, Texas, to Robert Corley and Linnie Jewell Fitzgerald. She passed away October 27, 2021, at her home in Linden.  Mrs. Baggett enjoyed dancing, singing, fishing, and tending to her flowers.  She was an avid bird watcher and animal lover, and she relished the changing of the colors each fall and the beauty of nature.  However, she loved nothing more than spending time with her family and being a homemaker.  She also had a wicked sense of humor, and Halloween was her favorite holiday!

Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Baggett; parents; sisters, Doris Miller, Marjorie Fitzgerald, Betty Jean Brashears; and brother, R.C. Fitzgerald.

She is survived by her four children, Judy Mitchell and husband, Jimmy, of Hughes Springs, Tim Baggett, of Nacogdoches, Tina Crocker and husband, Steve, of Marietta, Scott Baggett and wife, Angie, of Longview; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; brother, Joe Fitzgerald and wife, Sylvia; sisters-in-law, Melba Beckham, Marie Redwine and husband, Don; special niece, Fran Snider; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends; and her beloved Kitty, Whiskers.
