Hope Maxine “Granny” Johnson, 95, of Linden passed away September 13, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.  Mrs. Johnson was born February 13, 1924 in Buffalo, OK to Jasper Garrett and Clara Jordan Garrett.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, three daughters, Linda and Ronnell Storie, Debra and Donald Scott, Brittany and Josh Hall; three sons, Troy and Brenda Johnson, Johnny and Pam Johnson, Roy D. and Ann Johnson; three sisters, Imogene Collins, Judy Ann and Lonnie Hutsell, Sudie and Ray York; two brothers, Robert Garrett, Ralph and Gladys Garrett; 22 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ellis Johnson; two sons, Louis Johnson, Larry Johnson; one grandson, Sherman Johnson; two sisters and three brothers.

Services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Pinecrest Baptist Church with Bro. Bryan Baggett officiating.  Burial to follow in the Linden Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.

There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday evening at Pinecrest Baptist Church.

The family wants to extend a special thank you to Angela Suggs, Heritage Hospice and a special friend, Tommie Tatom.
