I never could call her Melba, she was my teacher over 30yrs ago and she never forgot me. She always ALWAYS had a kind word, and through social media she continued to bless each of her students. I know, i saw her everywhere, whether it was commenting on a milestone or celebrating with us on a birth, accomplishment to greiving with us at a loss, she was always there. Family/Friends, we are grieving with you today. May the Lord comfort you through this sad time. This amazing woman will be missed!

  11. Melba was a much appreciated co-worker at HSHS for many years and was admired by both of our children whom she taught. She was a devoted teacher who genuinely cared for her students. We spent a lot of time between classes "solving the world's problems".
and talking about family. Melba loved her family. I feel as though I know you through Melba even though we never met. She touched many lives… May God Bless and Keep You in His Care.

  12. I just read about the passing of Melba. She and I worked together at HSHS. She was such a delightful person ! We reconnected years later at Region 8 ESC one day when she came for a workshop, and we went out for lunch together. She will be missed.
