  1. Goodbye to a sweet and caring man who has now met with his Emily and they both rest in the arms of God. You are missed by a host of family and friends.

  2. Cliff, Cindy and families: You Dad was a special man! Our neighborhood will miss that special wave as we pass! Please know that you are in my thoughts and I pray that our loving Father will enfold you in his loving arms and hold you close in the days ahead.I love all of you! Carol Griffis

  3. I was so saddened to hear about your loss of Mr. Phenone. He was a longtime friend and such a good and sweet man. He will be sorely missed. God bless you all during this sad time.

  4. He will be greatly missed. He was a great friend to my Dad and family. We were neighbors since 1958. He and Emily were great to have as neighbors and friends…some great folks. So glad they were a part of our lives.

  5. To the Hall Family:Your Dad and mine (Connie Haggard) were lifelong friends. They were childhood friends when my dad lived in Hughes Springs and remained friends after the death of his father and they moved to Jefferson. They were in the Air Force together in WWII. When my Dad passed away in 1994 your Dad came to visitation and to the funeral. He was a very kind man to remember us during that difficult time. My prayers and sympathy to you during this time.

  6. To the Hall family: My late husband (Elmo Preston) spoke so often of Mr. Hall as they worked so closely together at Lone Star Steel for many years. I can just see them together with our Lord.It will be a great day when we see them again!!! God bless and may you be given the strength to go through this sad time here. Love in Christ, Ms. Lynette Preston

  7. I was a small girl when Mr. Hall was in school at Jefferson but he was a class friend of my Aunt Marie. His wife, Emily, was a beautiful person as was her entire family and were lifelong friends of mine and my grandparents and their offspring. Good memories.

  8. All of you know how important your Mom And Dad were to my Mother and family. They are going to be missed dearly. Our hearts and prayer go out to all of you.

  9. Phenone was my favorite "uncle" while I was growing up. He helped me on many occasions and taught me many things. He, may dad and I hunted, fished, and spent a lot of time together. After I married, he and Emily continued to be great friends of ours. We shall always have fond memories of this wonderful couple.
