Minnie Merle Mitchell

Minnie Merle Cook Mitchell, 85, of Linden passed away November 18, 2015. Ms. Mitchell was born February 15, 1930 in Linden, TX to Jack Fletcher and Susie Ann Shew. Minnie was a homemaker.She is survived by one sister, Mildred McDuffie of Linden, TX.; three brothers, James Cook of Elmo, TX., Donald Cook and Glen Cook both of Marietta, TX.; one special niece, Lou Price of Linden, TX. and numerous other nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Susie Shew; husband, Billy R. Mitchell; one sister, Bessie Cook and one brother, J.T. Cook. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 21, 2015 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden with Bro. Starkey Gunn and Bro. David Hazelwood officiating. Burial to follow at the Mill Creek Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at the funeral home.
