Funeral services for Mitchell Roe, 74, of Hughes Springs, will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Reeder-Davis Chapel, with Bro. Larry Neeley officiating. Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Fall Creek Cemetery, in Acton, Texas. The family will have a time of visitation from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at the funeral home. Mr. Roe was born on April 13, 1938, and passed away Monday, June 4, 2012 in Hughes Springs. He is preceded in death by his parents; one child; two brothers; and one sister. Survivors include two sons, Thomas Roe and wife Elia, of Gilmer and Lewis Roe and wife Elaine, of Hughes Springs; one daughter Lynda Roe Collins, of Gilmer; one brother, Jimmy Ross Roe and wife Amelia, of Alpine; one sister, Faith Roe Simpson and husband Sammy, of McCalla, Alabama; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
