Mozelle Gorman Hall, 77, of Linden passed away, Sunday, January 31, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Hall was born March 27, 1938 in Atlanta, TX to Joe and Ida Gorman. Mozelle graduated from Atlanta High School in 1956. She worked at the Linden-Kildare Elementary School as a teacher aid and retired. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Linden and as a teen and young adult she played the piano in her home church. Mozelle was devoted to her family and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include four sons, Kent and Debi Hall of Linden, Greg and Susie Hall of White Oak, Chris Hall of Jefferson, Russ and Pam Hall of Hughes Springs; grandchildren, Lisa and Steve Long, Jennifer and Aaron Webb, Blake and Haley Hall, Ashley and Cory Motley, Austin Hall, Christon Hall, Will Hall, Ian Ansley, Scott and Jennifer Brown, Steve Brown. Lexie Brown; great-grandchildren, James Michael Long, Ashley Webb, Drew Webb, Daniel Webb, Mason Motley, Clara Brown, Emmaline Brown, Clete Brown; one sister, Clara Faye and Paul Sangalli; three brothers and sister-in-laws, Wallace and Pepper Hall, Relda and Wayne McMillon, Charlie and Gail Hall and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Ida Gorman; her husband of 56 years Malvin Hall; two brothers, Henry Gorman and George Gorman and one sister, Leola Watkins.
Services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Linden with Bro. Bryan Baggett officiating. Burial to follow in the Center Grove Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

  1. Although our time to know Ms. Mozelle was short, it was certainly pleasant. She was always so kind to us every time we seen her and could definitely brighten up a day.
