Ms. Jerry Cook was born August 31, 1927 and passed away May 21, 2022. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
Kris and Amy genuinely care about what they do. They helped our family so very much with the passing of our mother. Quality people performing at such an elevated level.
Kris and Reeder-Davis were a huge help during a very difficult time. They were compassionate, patient and determined to make our funeral arrangements as comfortable and stress-free as possible. I would recommend them to anyone needing a caring and understanding presence.
Making my Mom’s arrangements was one of the hardest things to do. But, Kris, Amy and the rest of the staff were amazing through it all.

Years ago my parents made the decision that when their time came they wanted Reeder Davis to handle their burial services, So as hard as it is to lose your parents their time to go did come and when it did, We relied on Reeder Davis to help our family through the arrangements that needed to be made and all I can say is their commitment, compassion and their understanding made such a difficult process much easier. Our funeral director Amy, from our first meeting to our last was so kind, She shared in our laughter of funny memories and she shared in our tears seeing our grief. My sister suddenly passed away a month after my dad and again, Kris and Amy were there to help us and we were so grateful. Kris, Thank you for the care you gave to us and for being so kind and thoughtful. I will never forget everything that all of you did for my family .
Reeder handled my father in laws services and did it with so much compassion. We were at a loss with what to do first and Amy was amazing at guiding us. They treated us just like family and we will always be grateful for that.
For such as sad occasion we could not have asked for any better. The facilities were great, the staff very caring. Everyone did everything possible to make this the best experience possible. Even the slideshow had a personal touch that was initiated by the staff. I am so very grateful for the care and services we received.

Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. in Linden and Chris were there for me and my family when Keith passed away. Chris is so caring and thoughtful and was able to help me make it through the entire process of caring for Keith and my family until the final burial. He made the journey of death so much easier by his respect for our needs and his compassion for our pain and sorrow. I have known his staff for a long time and they also helped lighten our sorrow by their outpouring of love and compassion. Reeder-Davis also took care of my precious mom when she passed away three years after Keith. I still hug Chris and thank him whenever I can for helping me through losing loved ones.

Sure loved my Aunt Jerry, she will be missed. I hated that I had not had the opportunity to visit with her in a while. I know now she is at peace. Love & Prayers for all the family.
It's crazy how people's lives cross paths.. We never expect it, and we never know what kind of footprint they will leave in our lives. Fate, and the almighty God brought Mrs. Cook into my life, by me becoming a caregiver. We talked about life many times, and got to know each others the last few years. She knew I lost my grandmother at a young age, and she immediately "adopted" me as a grandson, and I'm so thankful for that as Grandparents have that special place in they're hearts for grandchildren… and honestly I needed that. I am blessed to have known her for the time that I did, and I'm sorry she did not get to see me graduate nursing school (it's a long road for me) but the last time I saw her, we talked a little about that and I assured her I was still working on it, and when I get there I'll be thinking of Granny Cook!
My condolences to the family, and the staff at Windsor Place who cared for her, and loved her as I did.
Hate to hear of the passing of Aunt Jerry, as I've been meaning to get up to see her. We had some good visits, where she would tell me stories about Frances and Reg and how they adopted my daddy and his siblings. She would talk about Cotton,her grandsons and the people who took such good care of her there at Windsor. She was such a sweet lady and will be missed. Prayers for you all.
