Services for Mrs. Patricia Cathey, 86, of Hughes Springs, will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 2025 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.
Patricia Ann Cathey was born July 1, 1939, to Leo and L.A. Green and grew up in Hughes Springs, Texas. She graduated from Hughes Springs High School and later attended Michael’s Beauty School in Longview, Texas.
Patricia went on to work in the cafeteria at Hughes Springs ISD, where she lovingly served students and staff for 10 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Cathey, and her son, Patrick Cathey.
Patricia’s life, simply put, was centered around her faith, her family, and her friends.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Ronny and Pam Smith, Chambers Hospice, and Capstone Nursing Center for their incredible support.
