LINDEN TXPaul Edward Darden 86, of Linden, died Saturday, June 1, 2013 in Linden. He was born November 24, 1926 in Bell County, Texas to Walter Carl and Emma Louise Parker Darden. He worked at Red River Army Depot and Stanco Manufacturing. Mr. Darden was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his first wife Vada Melton Darden, his parents, a brother, Walter Darden, and two sisters, Ruth Lovorn and Dorace Howell. Survivors include his wife, Ruby Darden of Texarkana; a daughter, and son-in-law, Dorothy and Charles Lineberger of Hughes Springs; three granddaughters and their spouses, Julie and Jason Ballard of Batesville, Arkansas, Jenny Pynes of Hallsville and Carla and Brian Fulghan also of Hallsville; great grandchildren, Mattie Ballard, Jordan and Joshua Pynes, and Makenzie and Kyler Fulgham; a brother, Roy Darden; two sisters, Joan Shepherd and Marietta Mesecke; also, numerous other family members and friends. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2013 in New Colony Cemetery with Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home of Linden in charge of the arrangements. Officiating will be Bro. James Fore and Dwain Currie. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Tuesday at Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home in Linden.
