Paul Bennett Johnson was born January 17, 1954. He was the third of four children. Paul was educated in the Paul Pewitt School system where he fell in love with sports and motorcycles.
Paul was a member of Mt. Zion C.M.E. Church, Daingerfield, TX. Under the current leadership of Rev. Q.T. Williams.
Paul Bennett married Barbara Sue Williams on April 26, 1979.
Paul worked for Texas Tubular until he retired due to his health.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, C. J. Johnson and Charlene Jones Johnson; sister: Linda Hawkins, and brother: James Johnson.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara Sue Johnson; children: Krystal Johnson of Naples, Texas, Benjamin (Theresa) Johnson of Hooks, Texas, LaQuanda Johnson of Daingerfield, Texas, Charity Johnson of Naples, Texas, Michael (LaKesia) Johnson of Arlington, Texas, Catherine Johnson and Sedrick Johnson of Naples, Texas; sister: Brenda (Jimmy) Colbert of Fort Worth, Texas; like a brother: Clenon (Betty) Mitchell, James (Hazel) Williams; like a sister: Virginia Jones; grandchildren: Jordan Johnson, Kameron Craig, LaJathan Allen, Kadrien Johnson, Benjamin Johnson II, LaDante Johnson, Malachi Johnson, and LaTylin; aunt: Nona Barber of Daingerfield, Texas; uncles: A.D. Johnson (Joyce) of Daingerfield, Texas; Dewitt Jones of Naples, Tex-as; Ernest Jones and A.J. Jones of Lancaster, Texas; in-laws: Regena Rodgers, Ruth (Elisha) Twine, Phyllis Williams, Stella (Ben) Mitchell, Faye Williams, Charles Haw-kins, Robert (Felicia) Williams, David (Myrtle) Williams; nieces and nephews: Thel-vin (Lisa) Hawkins, Kelvin (Sulma) Hawkins, Charles (Nadine) Hawkins Jr., Tramond (Mary) Hawkins, Vianca(Harry) Peel, Carolyn. Going to miss you but knowing you are at peace helps me and knowing that we have 5 angels looking over us helps me through this time.
