Sorry I had to leave right away. I know I didn’t get to say good-bye. But don?t ask God why. My brothers and sisters please don’t cry. Please carry on as you did before till all of us meet on heaven?s shore. I will always be with you in spirit. Obituary Sister Peggie Ann Gilliam was born to the late Earnest James Gilliam and Mrs. Rutha Beatrice Gilliam in Marion County, Texas. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jessie James Gilliam, and by her mother and father. She attended Victory High School. At an early age she joined Adam Chapel Church of God in Christ under the leadership of the late Elder M.B. Malone and later with Elder Edgar White at Victory Drive, and current leader, Pastor J.L. Malone. She departed this life at Linden Hospital, January 15, 2006. She leaves to cherish her memories: five sisters, six brothers and sisters-in-law, Charlie and Sonya Gilliam of Houston, Ronnie and Leslie Gilliam of Tyler, Donald Gilliam of Avinger, Jerry Gilliam of Dallas, Eddie Gilliam of Dallas, Elder Terry Gilliam of Marshall, Earnestine Albro of Houston, Brenda Gilliam of Houston, Patricia Gilliam of Marshall, Jacqueline Gilliam of Avinger, and Francell Gilliam of Avinger; one aunt, Ardra O. Jeffery of Avinger; first cousin, Tony Jeffery of Avinger; 13 nephews; four nieces; 12 great nephews and great nieces and family; and other relatives and friends.
