Funeral Services for Ms. Polly Welsh Werline, 89, of Haslet, Texas, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2025, in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. Burial will follow at Flat Creek Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation with family and friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.
Polly Welsh Werline passed away peacefully on December 16, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 16, 1936, in the Flat Creek Community of Cass County, Texas.
Polly was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Lill Welsh, and her brother, Baby Welsh. She is survived by her devoted sons: Richard Werline and wife Ann; Ray Werline and wife Brenda; Randy Werline; and Rusty Werline and wife Lynna.
Polly leaves behind a legacy of love through her grandchildren: Leslie Kaufman and husband Chris; Allison Pike and husband Austin; Laura Howard and husband Jacob; James Werline and wife Lauren; Jonathan Werline; Joseph Werline; and Jake Werline. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Case Kaufman, Nolan Kaufman, Addie Kaufman, Parker Pike, Wyatt Werline, and Baker Werline.
Her warmth, devotion, strong family ties and famous fried deer steak will be remembered by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Flat Creek Cemetery Fund, a place that was very dear to Polly’s heart.

Nana will truly be missed. I remember her at all the school and sports activities throughout the years. It showed how much she loved her family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I grew up 2 houses down from the Werlines.Used to play with the boys. Great family.We all had such good times back then. Polly was a great example for the kids in the neighborhood.
