Ralph Wayne Stukes, 65, of Cuero, Texas, passed away in Linden on Monday, March 11, 2013. He was born February 17, 1948 in Buda, Texas to Harley Eugene Stukes and Vallie Caine. He was a truck driver and a Navy Sea Bee. Preceding him in death is his father and a sister, Brenda Gayle Stukes. Survivors include his mom, Carolyn Maxwell of Bivins; a son, Ralph Eugene Stukes and wife, Laura, of Midwest City, Oklahoma; four brothers, Douglas Eugene Stukes of Eddy, Patrick Wayland Stukes of Wichita Falls, Alex Claude Stukes of Marshall, and Travis Allen Stukes of Brownville; a sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy Carolyn and John Moser of Linden; one granddaughter, Dakota Stukes and numerous step grandchildren and other relatives. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the home of Carolyn and Cecil Maxwell in Bivins, Texas. Memorials may be made to the Cuero VFW Post.
