Raymond Ray Helton, 83, of Daingerfield, Texas passed away October 29, 2020. Mr. Helton was born November 26, 1936 to Elmer Clyde Helton and Gracie Helen Perry. Raymond served his country proudly in the United States Air Force.
He is survived by one daughter, Janet Helton; one son, Randy Helton and wife Tina; grandchildren, Scott, Eric, Ashlee, Cheryl, Felecia, Amanda, Tia, Cody; eleven great-grandchildren; sisters, Lisa, Elva, Freda, Anna and Barbara Helton; brothers, Willie, Edward, Rod, Jackie Helton and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other family members throughout the country.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Carolyn Helton; three brothers, Jerry Mack Helton, Charles Helton, Delbert Helton and one great-granddaughter, Avee Sue.
Services will be 3:00 p.m., Monday, November 2, 2020 at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Chad Thompson officiating and burial under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.
There will be a time of visitation from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m., Monday afternoon prior to the service.
Fly high my friend, gone but not forgotten, always in my heart.

Prayers for all who loved this wonderful man. He had such a giving heart. He fulfilled a promise to Dad to continue something that Dad didnt get to see through. He loved all his family and I loved him. He was my brother too.
