Guestbook

  1. I didn't know Jerry very well but did hear him preach a few times. My mother Peggy Maxey was a member of Jenkins United Methodist and she thought so much of him. His church will really miss him. Prayers for Cindy and his family.

  2. It was a joy to know and serve with Jerry. Serving communion with him the annual conference we were ordained was meaningful.

  3. Dear Family,

It was my pleasure to work with Jerry and Cynthia through the process of becoming members of the Central Texas Conference, being appointed to First United Methodist Church of Hubbard and Mt. Calm United Methodist Church and serve with them in the Waco District. My prayers for all the family.
Rev. J. Allen Goss, Waco District Superintendent 1998-2003

  4. Rev Jerry Irvin performed the marriage between his granddaughter Hannah and my son Ben. That is, I believe the first time I met Jerry. I had the impression that he was a very kind individual and fairly soft spoken. His son Clay spoke of some of the most beautiful prayers he had heard while his dad was in the hospital a couple of months ago. I would like to say Thank you to the family for allowing Jerry to continue God’s work on his journey later in life.
