Services for Robert Don Rodden, 85, of Lone Star, will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Snow Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Iron Bluff Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Rodden was born December 29, 1932 and passed away August 9, 2018. He was a member of Snow Hill Baptist Church and a Mason. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Rodden; parents, Jessie Ernest and Alice Jewel Rodden; and brother, Ernest Rodden.
He is survived by his son, Robert "Bobby" Rodden and husband, Edwin Ayala of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Amron McGill and husband, Kenny of Lone Star; grandchildren, Brad McGill of Jenkins, and Brian McGill and wife, Tera of Fairhope, AL; great-grandchildren, Addison McGill, Ella McGill, Conley McGill, and Hayes McGill all of Fairhope, AL; brothers, Mike Rodden and Tommy Rodden; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thank you to his caregiver, Alma Easley.
