Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Mr. Johnson's family: I am sorry for your loss. Cherish fond memories confident of Gods assurance that soon all sickness and death will be no more, (Isaiah 25:8) while drawing comfort and strength from the refuge of Gods loving support now. Psalms 34:18

  2. To my Dad, You were truly a soldier, in and out the army! You fought a good, hard 7+ years battle with this nasty colon cancer and on Tuesday morning God said, "The battle is over." No more feeling like your side is about to burst open, extreme weight loss, swelling, falling or all the others things that came along with your illness. I'm glad we spent a lot of times together this past year and that you got to know and keep our newest addition to the family, Angel, and watch your 1st grand son, Jay, grow taller than you. You didn't want to go and we weren't ready for you to go like that but it wasn't our choice so we accept it with teary eyes and a void in our hearts. We will remember the good times and forgive and forget the past. We love you, we miss you calling already, and will never forget you. Rest easy Soul. Felisha Shanta Johnson, your 1st born, the daughter you named, your pride and joy

  3. For me one lasting testimony of Robert JR was his last Months suffering with the illness. I never heard him complain. He tried to live life to the fullest with the time he had. He refused treatments that may have eased his pain but which he believed might have slowed him down. Amazing that in his condition his last days were spent visiting his friends and relatives. His last weekend he made a long drive from Dallas to East Texas to see his Grandchildren, brothers and sisters. What a great measure of strength and courage the lord gave him to keep going. May god bless and rest his soul. Yessa, Much Love to you my brother.
