Roscoe Rowe

Funeral services for Roscoe Rowe, 85, of Daingerfield will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Reeder-Davis Chapel with Rev. Scott Darby officiating. Interment will be at Bradfield Chapel Cemetery in Daingerfield under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Mr. Rowe was born on July 23, 1923 in Daingerfield to Zachery and Nora Rowe and died on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at a Pittsburg hospital. Mr. Rowe was a US Navy WWII veteran and a member of The Daingerfield Pigeon Club and was an Episcopalian. He was preceded in death by his wife Margie in 1989. Survivors include one son Kevin Rowe of Ore City; one brother Richard Rowe of Dallas; four sisters Vera Harris of Mesquite, Donna Gaye of Gilmer, Dorothy Hall of Odessa and Mary Fincher of Kansas; two grandsons Derrick Allan Rowe and Christopher Ryan Rowe; one great grandson D.J. Rowe; two great granddaughters Brooklyn Rowe and Avery Rowe; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Rowe will lie in state on Friday, July 24th and the family will receive friends from 6-8 PM at the funeral home in Hughes Springs.
