Funeral services for Sandra Kay Harrel, 64, of Redwater, will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Reeder-Davis Chapel, in Hughes Springs. The family will receive visitors from noon until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Burial will follow at Dennis Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Mrs. Harrel was born May 18, 1948, in Knox City , Texas and passed away December 24, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Jaquatta Taylor. She is survived by her husband, James Harrel, of Redwater; one son, James Harrel, Jr., of Redwater; two daughters, Rebecca Harrel Frye and husband Jim, and Jennifer Harrel, all of Kaufman, Texas; four grandchildren, Hayden, and Alexandria Harrel, and Caleb, and Eliajah Frye; and two brothers, Terry Taylor, of Garland, Texas, and Michael Taylor, of Indiana.

I am so sorry to hear about Sandra, our prayers and thoughts are with the Harrel family. She seemed fine on Sunday when we visited at church.
In the 10 years I have known Sandra, she has always been one of my favorite people. So sweet and such a kind spirit. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
I am so glad to have known Sandra. She always had such a pleasant smile even when things weren't. She had a very loving heart.
