Sharon Yvonne Moore was born on December 10, 1967 in Lone Star Texas. At an early age, she joined New Jerusalem Baptist church, where she sang in the choir and was a member of the BTU.

Sharon attended West Elementary, Daingerfield Jr. High and graduated from Daingerfield High School in 1986. She later studied and received her CNA certification and worked at various area nursing homes. She worked at Pilgrim's Pride for a while and left to use her CNA skills to care for her grandparents and great aunt. Sharon had to retire early due to failing health issues.

During that time, she enjoyed going to the casino, bingo, reading romance novels, watching crime scene shows, doing crossword puzzles, enjoying her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and nightly virtual Wheel of Fortune with her mother.

Sharon is preceded in death by her grandparents, Clark O.W. and Ella Mae Moore; and grandson, Ja’Marrion Moore.

She is survived by her mother, Arvis Brown-Hatten; sons, Christopher Moore, Carl Moore (Merrissa), Keithdreick Moore; daughters, Antonisha Moore Parks, A’Keysha Moore, Aquarius Moore, and A’Yanna Townsend (Derek); sisters, LaKendra Moore, Shaletha Brown and Alisha Barajas (Jorge); 30 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; seven nephews; one niece; great aunt, Dorthey Hurndon; and step-father Ervin Brown (Mary); honorary grandmother, Verda Allen; honorary mother, “Mama D” Dorthey Brannon; honorary daughters, Crissy Whatley and Teneka Hamilton; honorary sisters, Linda Traylor, and Mary Holloman; honorary brother, Jovaniel Holloman; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be 12:00 noon Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial will follow at Daingerfield Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Ms. Moore will lie in state from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
