Sherry Johnson

Funeral services for Ms. Sherry Lynn Johnson, 75, of Linden, Texas, will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2026, in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. Burial will follow at New Colony Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.  There will be a time of visitation with family and friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2026, at the funeral home in Linden.

Sherry was born on October 25, 1950, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Harrell Mosley and Tinnie Jo Harrod Mosley. She lived a life centered on family, simple joys, and cherished traditions. She passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026, in Texarkana, Texas, surrounded by her loving family.

She had a love for garage sales and could often be found searching for hidden treasures. Sherry enjoyed watching western movies, especially her favorite, Gunsmoke. She also had a special fondness for chocolate malts from Dairy Queen. Above all, she deeply loved her grandbabies, who brought her endless happiness and pride.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harrell and Tinnie Mosley.

Sherry is survived by her sons, Eddie Johnson and J.D. Johnson; her daughter, Melissa Jo Johnson; her grandchildren, Robbie Johnson, Miranda Lynn Johnson (Chris), Matthew Johnson (Emily), Cadin Johnson, Callie Jo Johnson, and Cambrie Lou Johnson, Christopher (Megan), Lacey Price (Parker);  and her great-grandchildren, Briana Holt, Joseph Sims, Shelby Sims, Cooper Cade Johnson, Logan Layne Johnson, Gavin Johnson, Gemma Johnson, Connor Morgan, Poppy Price, Riley, and Adler. She is also survived by her brothers, Harrell Mosley (Betty), David Mosley (Tina), and Mike Jordan (Norma) and her sister, Missy Matchett (Keith).

Sherry will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to her family, and the joy she found in life’s simple pleasures. Her memory will live on in all who knew and loved her.
