T R Ogden

TR Ogden, 86, of Hughes Springs, Texas passed away January 30, 2022 in Pittsburg, Texas. TR was born July 21, 1935 in Shelby County, Texas to Issac Ogden and Mary Willis Ogden. TR was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Hughes Springs, retired from a long career at Lone Star Steel, a devoted Wildflower Inn morning coffee drinker where he kept up with all of the local gossip and politics, and a family man who was not at all shy about telling everyone he met how much he loved his family.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters Charlotte Ogden McKay and Lesa Ogden Terry and husband, Byron Terry, Jr.; two granddaughters, Autumn McKay Graham and husband, Brandon Graham, and Jennifer Terry Proctor and husband, Damon Proctor; four great-grandsons: Braden Graham, Logen Graham, Andrew Proctor, and Ethan Proctor, all of Hughes Springs, Texas, and his brother, Billy Ray Ogden of Gilmer, Texas.
TR was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife Mildred Cook Ogden; one special grandson, Brad McKay; two sisters, Ruth Tate and Abbie Watson; and six brothers: EJ, James, Nolan, Jack, Buford, and Fred Ogden.
Services will be 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Hughes Springs cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 5:00 until 7:00 Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

We are so sorry for your loss. We didn't really know Mr. Ogden but do know several of the family. We extend our sincere sympathy for the whole family. Prayers are with you all for comfort.
Charlotte and Lesa, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Your Daddy was quiet a character and we always visited him at Hawkins. He can now Rest In Peace and be well again. Love you all.

I sure hated to hear about Uncle TR passing. Sending our love and prayers to everyone. If I wasn’t on the road I would be there.

Lesa, Charlotte and all the Family and kiddos, I am sending Love, Hugs and Prayers for all of you!! I loved my Unc! Been a long time since I'd seen him. Lots of great memories in my life with each and every one of you. He was definitely a sweet Man.
Charlotte and Lesa and grandchildren…. so so sorry for your loss. I have so many wonderful memories. No matter how long it had been since I had seen him he always had a big hug!! Will pray for all of you.
Charlotte and Lesa I am sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. T. R. I loved to sit and listen to his stories at the roundtable and drink coffee. The one thing you came away from with his stories is he truly loved his girls and his family. May his soul rest in peace.

Sweet Uncle TR has always been one of my favorite people. He was filled with so much love, and told the best stories with a smile on his face.
And it was always obvious that he adored his family. Sending love and prayers,
