Tammy Ward

tammy ward

Tammy Ward of Daingerfield, Texas was born December 21, 1962 as Tammy Ruth Chapman, and because she didn’t want to miss Jesus’ birthday party in heaven, she went to be with Him on Christmas Eve 2021.

Although she was normally always late, she beat many loved ones to heaven. Those left on Earth still loving her include her two children: Amy Marlowe (husband Ryan Marlowe) of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Johnathon Ward (who we all know was her favorite) of Daingerfield, TX. She also had three bonus (stepchildren) Rodney Ward Jr., Timothy Ward, and Kimberly Young that she loved dearly as well. She left behind four protective siblings: Glen Chapman, Richard Chapman, Janet Pritchett, and David Clifton (wife Misty). Others still on earth loving her include: Jerry Clifton, (wife Lynn) her stepfather who she always had a special bond with, and numerous nieces and nephews. Just when she thought she’d never fall in love again she became a Nana to Anderson and Addison. Caden, her great nephew, and her grandchildren were her greatest treasures.

She was reunited in heaven with her mother, Ruth Clifton, and her, father Jerry Chapman.

Tammy graduated from Hughes Spring High School in 1981.

Tammy was a friendly cashier employed at Crumps grocery store from August of 2018 until the day she left this earth. Her boss described her as a delightful soul and a wonderful Christian lady.

She left us all so suddenly, but she is with her one true love, Jesus. She will be dearly missed by anyone who knew her.

The family will be conducting services, 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 29th at Church on the Rock in Daingerfield, Texas.

If any loved ones would like to make a donation in her memory, please send it to Church on the Rock of Daingerfield, Texas or to the American Diabetes Association.

Cremation arrangements entrusted to Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.
