Services for Terry Tyrone Penn, 46 of Hughes Springs, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Hughes Springs, with Bro. Daniel Bramlett officiating. Mr. Penn passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2012. He was an avid hunter, outdoorsman and Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved boating, camping and spending time with family and his hunting buddies. Mr. Penn worked in commercial sales for Moores Tire and Service center for over 20 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Penn. He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Penn; mother, Sherry Patterson and husband Sam; daughter, Marlette Penn; step-son, Dalton Martin,; step-daughter, Blakely Martin; sister, Kim Cain and husband Mark; and 3 nephews: Steven, Connor and Parker Cain. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Texas Parks and Wildlife Department 4200 Smith School Road Austin, TX 78744

  6. I remember Tyrone with the best of memories. Kenneth and I spent many weekends with Tyrone growing up and after we were married. Lord, please comfort his family.

I grew up with Tyrone, tyrone , danny despot and myself always played together, and we had an awesome fort, Life carried us in different directions and down different paths, I am sorry for not being a better friend, I wish I could change the past, Ms Penn and Kim, and Tyrone's family , I am truely sadden by the passing of my friend, and I will always remember the fun I shared at the house on Gorden ST.   8. I work at Moore's Retread and Tire in Lufkin Texas and knew Tyrone. Tyrone was a very special person. I am so shocked and sad for the loss of a great man. God Bless the family.

  17. My heart hurts hearing this! I did not know Mr. Penn on a personal level however Blakely, Dalton and I are all the same age so I was around him some. He was always very sweet and always happy!I pray that the Lord will give you all the strength to get through this like I know you will. If there is anything at all that our family can do we are only a phone call away, and you know where we live! Love you guys!

  18. Had the opportunity to work Tyrome many years. He was very well liked by his customers, especially Penske Truck Leasing. We will miss him greatly!

It seems like yesterday when, while hunting in Ozona, I would drop him off at his deer blind–he was always so excited to hunt and always came back with a good story.Even as a young man was always polite with a "yes,sir" and a smile on his face.He loved his family and I know they loved him.
