Graveside services for Toni Phillips, 48, of Ore City, will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 10, 2006 at Turkey Creek Cemetery, Hughes Springs with Rev. Marion Coon officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Mrs. Phillips died Monday, November 6, 2006 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was born September 26, 1958 in Linden, Texas. She worked as a cashier and was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Carroll Phillips; four sons, Steven (Kim) Phillips, Jason (Lynn) Phillips, Laurence Wesley Phillips, and Patrick (fiance’ Debrah Torrez) Phillips all of Ore City; two brothers, Mark (Mary) Amox and Mike (Debbie) Amox, both of Logansport, LA; two sisters, Donna (Paul) D’Orsa of Escondido, CA and Cindy (Garry) Scarborough of Ore City; three grandchildren, Kayla Utting, Megan Phillips, Eric George; and numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing and visitation will be Thursday afternoon and evening at the funeral home and the family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m.
Dear Carroll and Family, We are so sorry for your loss. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. I would have loved to have met Toni and known her as you all did. I really miss her so much I wish I could see her one more time I wish I can hear her voice! She was always there for me when i needed her the most she always made me feel better no matter what, she always put a smile on my face! She's the best grandma ever!
