Services for Trannie Black, 95, of Kilgore will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Harris Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Harris Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
Ms. Black was born April ,12, 1921 and passed away October 8, 2016.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jackie Raymond Black of Pritchett and Tommy Ray and Lora Black of Liberty City; a daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Russell Goetsch of Gilmer; five grandchildren, Bridgett Hardin, Brett Goetsch, Amberlee Warner, Tommy Black, Jr. and Barry Goetsch; ten great grandchildren; two sisters, Ruby Black of Hughes Springs and Mary Phillips of Lone Star; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Black; her parents Willie and Mattie McDaniel; and numerous brothers and sisters.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
