Funeral Services for Mrs. Tresa Faye Bradley, 68, of Hughes Springs, Texas, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 15, 2025, at Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church, with Bro. Dan McGuire officiating. Burial will follow at Dennis Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation with family and friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church.
Tresa was born May 18, 1957, in Hughes Springs, to Mr. William Howard Taft Golden and Mrs. Mildred Lurline Lumpkin Golden. She passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at home in Hughes Springs.
Tresa was a dedicated employee of Hughes Springs ISD for over 31 years and lovingly viewed every child as her own. She had a remarkable green thumb and could bring flowers back to life with her tender care. She adored her grandbabies, nieces, and nephews, and she treasured the times she spent going on rides with her husband, Charlie. She also enjoyed visiting and walking around Jefferson with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. William Howard Taft Golden and Mildred Lurline Golden; brothers: Glenn Golden, Wes Golden, Richard Golden, Yogi Golden, Ronny Golden; Sisters: Jean Duffey, Reba Perkins, Kathleen Steed, Joyce Black.
Tresa is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Mr. Charlie Bradley; daughters, Jessica Bradley, Terrace Bradley; her grandkids, known as her “best buds club”: Erik, Eyan, Garrison, Graeson; sisters, Johnnie Chunn, Sue McDaniel (Doug); brother, Stevie Harold Golden; numerous nieces and nephews and extended nieces and nephews; very special niece, Breezie Morrow.
Tresa will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but most of all by her family, and the countless children, coworkers, and families whose lives were made brighter because of her kindness and dedication. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Casey Hanes Memorial Scholarship at East Texas Professional Credit Union (Joby McDaniel Account #2245) or the Carla Barnes Memorial Scholarship.
Tresa loved poinsettias. Any poinsettias sent in her honor, will be donated to Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church for the Christmas season, following her funeral service.
