Vicki Hodgin

January 14, 1957 ~ February 9, 2023

February 9th, surrounded by her three boys and family, Vicki Karen McCullough-Hodgin, left her earthly home to be reunited with her husband, Don, on their wedding anniversary.

Vicki was born in Pasadena, Texas to Lloyd and Joyce Addison McCullough January 14, 1957. She was the second eldest of five children.

During Vicki’s life she impacted many people, but her heart was to teach. She taught special education for many years, and she loved them like her own. It was her true passion.

Vicki’s heart and soul were her children, Chad, Christopher, and Collin. She was immensely proud to be their momma and made sure everyone knew. She was always good at stealing those pictures of her grand babies and sharing them on her Facebook page. There were no rules when Grammie was around and made sure she spoiled everyone. She was and will always be the greatest Grammie!

Her love and devotion for the Lord was true and profound. Her years of serving Calvary Baptist church teaching Sunday school were some of her favorites. Raising her boys here, attending with her mother and being taught by her baby brother, Jonathan, Calvary was like home for her.

Although Vicki will be greatly missed, we know her legacy will be remembered for many years to come. Her babies and their babies, her sweet voice, her infectious laugh, and her love for all things yellow, she’ll never be forgotten. This isn’t goodbye Grammie, it’s just see you later. We’ll love you forever, we’ll like you for always, as long as we’re living, our Grammie you’ll be.

Vicki was preceded in death by husband Donnie Hodgin; her father, Lloyd McCullough; and sister, Pamela Calcote.

She is survived by her loving mama, Joyce McCullough; children, Chad Lawrence and partner John Molina, Christopher Lawrence, and Collin Lawrence and wife Ashley; grandchildren, Lacie and husband Eddy, Addyson, Julia, Dakota, Sarah Grace, Cody, Chandler; great-grandson, Emilio; brothers, Timothy McCullough and partner Angel, Rex McCullough and wife Cristy, and Jonathan McCullough and wife Jennifer; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, many other relatives and friends.
