Victor Wayne Boyd, aka β€œBo” age 63, passed away peacefully in his home in
Avinger, TX surrounded by loved ones on August 22, 2023. Born on January 5,
1960, he was the beloved husband of Alean Nell Boyd for 44 wonderful years.
Victor was a loving son to Gordon Wayne and Nancy Boyd, a devoted brother to
Penny and husband Lee Day; and Rex Boyd. He leaves behind a legacy of love
and kindness in his four children: Katie Jo Mitchell of Winnsboro, TX; Krystal
Marie and husband Zach Ivic of Avinger, TX; Bobbie Lee and husband J.R.
Jackson of Hughes Springs, TX; and Cody Boyd of Avinger, TX.

Victor was a cherished Paw Paw to grandchildren: Alyssa, Jace, Lexi and Julia
Mitchell; Douglas Boyd; Jackson Ivic; Beau Boyd; O’Lee Jackson. He leaves
behind a myriad of cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. He
also shared a special bond with his bonus family: Brian, Jade, Navi and Alex
Nelson of Lindale, TX.

Bo was preceded in death by dear relatives: grandmother Beatrice Latham of
Linden, TX; grandmother Evelyn Boyd of Avinger, TX; and granddaughter Layken
Tola Boyd of Avinger, TX.

A kind soul with an infectious smile, Victor touched the hearts of all who knew
him. He will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family and warm
gentle spirit. As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the joy and love he
brought into our lives. He will forever remain in our hearts, and we will feel his
presence when the wind blows.

There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, August 26,
2023 at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden, TX.

Services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 27, 2023 at Pinecrest Baptist Church
in Linden with Rev. Robert Vaughan officiating. Burial will follow at Pruitt Lake
Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.

In remembrance of Victor’s life, the family asks that any charitable donations be
made to Cypress Basin Hospice for their exceptional care, unwavering
compassion and unparalleled comfort provided to Victor and his family.
