Funeral services for Ms. Virginia Ann Best, 79, of Linden, Texas, will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2025, in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.  Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.  There will be a time of visitation with family and friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Virginia Ann Eads Best was born November 1, 1946, in Dallas County, Texas, to Mr. Thomas Weldon Eads and Mrs. Robbie Faye Borchardt Eads.  She passed away peacefully at her home in Linden on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

Virginia loved to cook and bake, crochet, play board games, watch her favorite soap operas, and go fishing. She also had a wonderfully bossy streak that those who knew her best loved and will fondly remember.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Robbie Faye Eads; husband, William Best; son, William “Bub” Best, Jr.; great-granddaughter, Kenzington Rae Carpenter; sister, Marcie Faye Eads.

Virginia is survived by daughters, Holly Kimball (Jeff), Sondra Bradshaw; grandchildren: Randell Shields (Christina), Cara Carpenter (Jeremy), Robbie Johnson, Paul Woodruff (Elyana), Jesse Kimball (Kelsey), and Tanner Kimball (Chloe).  12 great-grandchildren: Keaston, Kali-Kate, Autumn, Gentry, Harper, Gavin, Gemma, Wyatt, Waylon, Zeke, Maverick, Asher, and Harleigh; brother, Sidney Eads (Coleen); nephew,Andy Eads (Ginger), niece, Amy Ellis (Clay), great nieces and nephews: Everett, Addison, Caroline, Emily, and Ashley.

Virginia leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and memories that her family will carry in their hearts forever.
