Funeral services for Vonquita "Von" Abron, 37, will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Daingerfield Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.  There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.

Vonquita Tasheak Abron, 37, of Dallas, TX, was born in Longview, TX on November 14, 1984, to the late Breanard “Buck” Carter and Amanda Abron. She attended Spring Valley Elementary School and Hubbard Middle School. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 2003, where she excelled in all her subjects. She also attended Tyler Junior College and graduated from Remington College as a Level II Medical Assistant. She then utilized her education and skills by obtaining employment at Richardson Retirement Home and the Wellington at Arapaho Lane. She also attended Greenville Church of Christ in Richardson, TX. 

She was preceded in death by: her father, Breanard Carter; her brother, Eric S. Abron; her grandfathers, James Tatum Abron and Winford Carter; and her grandmother, Hattie Ann Carter.

She leaves to cherish her memories: mother, Amanda Abron; brother, Markeith Abron (Gisele), and Quanard Carter; sisters, Priscilla Lee and Cherika Williams; fiance, Joshua Carpenter; grandmother, Arthic Jewel Abron; uncles, Cecil H. Abron, James T. Abron, Jr. (Sacandra), Michael W. Abron (Sonya), Bishop Paul Watson (Stella), Charles Mason, Kenneth Carter (Kellye); aunts, Patricia A. Abron, Fannie M. Verner, Lucy Hutchings (Roy), Shirley J. Andrews, Evangelean Abron, Beverly B. Abron, Frances V. Abron, Queen Wilson (Curtis), Cherron Smith (Tony), Carolyn Traylor (OJ), LaSondia DeBase (Dan Michael), Michelle Stern; nieces, Kissa Abron, Kelah Abron, LaQua’Nosha Lee, ShaCameron Lee; nephews, Trevanta Royal, Carter Hall and Carson Hall; and great-nephew, Bentley Porter.  Special cousin, Broderick Andrews. Special friends, Jasmine Penn, Tiffany Pinkerton and Thomas Blakemor. And many, many special friends, family and loved ones.
