Funeral services for Walter Crump, 92, of Arlington, will be 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial will follow at Hughes Springs Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, in Hughes Springs. Mr. Crump was born December 31, 1920 in Daingerfield and passed away December 21, 2013 in Arlington. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Rena Crump; two wives, Mary Mayfield Crump and Maurine Summerlin Crump; and nine brothers and sisters. He his survived by his special companion, Ladelle Young, of Arlington; one son, Walter A. Crump and wife Terri, of Sugar Land, TX; three daughters, Mary Muslow and husband Stephen, of Shreveport, LA, Jerry Sue York and husband Charles, of Hamilton, TX, and Kay Hanes and husband Thomas, of Arlington, TX; ten grandsons, Jason Muslow, Matthew Muslow, Allen Crump, Eric Crump, Jason Morton, Chris Morton, Stephen York, Phillip York, Thomas Hanes, and James Hanes; three granddaughters, Mary Katherine Schroeder, Melissa Crump, and Mary Kathleen York; and numerous great grandchildren. Memorials may be left to Hearts and Hands, a ministry of North Davis Church of Christ, 1601 North Davis, Arlington, TX 76016, or the charity of your choice.
