  11. Candle 5The loss of a loved one is so hard to face.
You just want to hide, go somewhere and escape!
But death is something we all must go through.
I know it’s hard when it’s someone you loved and knew.

Just know now, that she is in a better place.
No more hurt or pain shall she face.
It seems unfair, and yes, this is true, but she is in Heaven now watching over you!

God has called her home to rest!!
And she’s being well taken care of
    Because God knows best!

    • Thank you, LaCrecia. It is tough but I agree with you πŸ’― %. She is in a better place. Thank you for your kind words.

  13. Candle 5Laura,
My deepest condolences to you and your family during this time. I will keep you in my prayers!

May God continue to comfort you and your family.

    Psalms 147:3

β€œHe heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

    • Thank you, Valenda. Although I know she is at peace and celebrating in heaven, there is going to be a need for much “binding” and recovery.

    • Thank you Catina. Need all the prayers I can get to make it through today. Much appreciated.

  14. My condolences on your loss Russell family.

The loss of loved ones is always hard to deal with. Death was not part of God’s plan, as such, it is very hard for us to deal with. Whether the loss is a loved one that is very close to us or not, we feel the pain because we sympathize with the person that is close to the one who has fallen asleep in death.

May the following scriptures bring you comfort.

Job asked the question at Job 14:14, β€œIf a man dies, shall he live again?”

At Isaiah 26:19 the answer is β€œYour dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning, And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life.

Remember the promise found at Psalm 37:29, β€œThe righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it.”

Notice at Ecclesiastes 9:5 where it says β€œFor the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all.” Furthermore, remember that Romans 6:23 helps us understand where we stand because there is says β€œThe wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life.” When we die, our sins are acquitted and as it says at Psalm 146;3, 4 β€œHis spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; in that day his thoughts do perish.” No more suffering!

Remember how Jesus viewed Lazarus’ death? At John 11:11 Jesus stated, β€œLazarus our friend has fallen asleep, but I am traveling there to awaken him.”

At Luke 20:37, 38 we find comfort in knowing this: β€œHe is a God, not of the dead, but of the living, for they are all living to him.”

God longs to bring our lost loved ones back and he will as promised at John 5:28, 29 and Acts 24:15

John-β€œDo not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.

Please take the time needed to grieve but another nice scripture is found at 1 Thessalonians 4:13, where it says, β€œnot sorrow just as the rest also do who have no hope.” You have hope! Draw close to God in prayer, and the Bible promises that β€œhe himself will sustain you.” Psalms 55:22.

    My sincere condolences.

    • Candle 1Ramon; No words can express my gratitude your post has brought. You have lifted my spitits and I know one day I will see her again and she will be healthy and glorious! Thank you so much. Your encouraging words have brought me peace and comfort
What a blessing today. Thanks again.
      Laura
