Funeral services for Wanda Faye Coussan, 87, of Houston, will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Veal Switch Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Paul Denny officiating. Burial will follow at Veal Switch Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 7 until 9 Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Coussan was born July 13, 1926 and passed away May 4, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo Coussan; parents; and 14 brothers and sisters. She is survived by two sons, Stanley Coussan of Houston and Ivan Coussan and wife Betty of Daingerfield; four grandchildren, Paula Long, Stanley Paul Coussan Jr., Randy Jones, and Kenneth Jones; as well as numerous great-grandchildren.

Some of my fondest memories in childhood were spent sitting at your kitchen table eating with Granny and a few of the sisters. Cheese, crackers, and pickles were the staple of a good snack. Okra and tomatoes will never be the same again. Love and miss you, always in our hearts.
Spent alot of time coming with grannie to your house.But one thing I can say those sister's of your thought alot about you cause they couldn't stay away.Smiles in heaven.
