So very sorry for your loss.
Cruising on sunner nightsDuring the summer of 1965 was one of the many summers that I spent working for H. E. "Hoddie" Oden. While I was working there, Charles Flint was working at Piggly Wiggly for Oran McGoogan and Wayne was busy with painting business. Thr three of us had nothing better to do than cruise the streets of Atlanta, Texas thinking we were so "COOL ." We would swap many stories about what went on that day at work. We could not imagine why any "sweet young thing" would not give their right arm for a chance to stop and talk to three good looking cool young studs like the three of us. The three of us all graduated from Atlanta High Schoo together in 1963 and we all missed Wayne at our 50 year reunion this past summer. To all of the family, but especially to his brother, Charles Pitts and his niece Vicky McCall (because I had a very close relationship with the two of them) I want to let them and the rest of the family know that I lost not only a fellow class mate but a very dear friend. There is coming a day when we all shall be together again and there' will be no tears and no more pain. Until that day, "God Bless You and Your Fanilies and remember that "this too shall pass."John Pierce EllisAHS Class of 1963ISAIAH 65: 20-25
