Services for William Bill Tyson of Atlanta will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Reeder-Davis Chapel in Hughes Springs. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. There will be a time of visitation from 6 until 8 Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Bill was born May 24, 1935 in El Dorado, Arkansas and passed from this earth on August 15, 2015. He was preceded in death by his mother and dad, Audrey Dell and Hugh (Bud) Tyson; brothers, Samuel, Clayton, Charles, and Daniel Tyson; sister, Judy Tyson Reneau; aunt, Pauline Tyson Frazier; special granddaughters, Kimberly Tyson Phillips and Jennifer Tyson; grandson, Ricky Tyson; grandson-in-law, Christopher Lee Glasgow; and son-in-law, Charles E. Shaw, Jr. He leaves behind a loving wife, of 59 years, Rose; and five children, Ron and Brenda Tyson, Bill Jr. and Susie Tyson, Brian and Kimberly Tyson, Grace and Don Robinson, and Darla Shaw; brother, Harold and wife Patti; sister, Doris and husband Ernest; sisters-in-law, Patsy Tyson, Gerri Tyson, and Mary Nell Tyson; 20 beautiful grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and scores of nieces and nephews, friends, Army friends, Bluegrass Buddies, and children that he loved from everywhere that shall never be forgotten.

  6. Your family has always been a part of our family. We always enjoyed our visits and looked forward to being together. Y'all are the sweetest, most fun folks to be with. Mr. Tyson was always so funny and ILoved the way he would make jokes and have a great time with my dad. I am so glad that we got to see y'all on one of our trips home. Love you and we pray for the Lord's comfort for you.
