William Paul Miller

December 2, 1947 ~ June 8, 2022
William “Paul” Miller passed away Wednesday June 8, 2022 in a Texarkana hospital. He was born December 2, 1947 in Dallas to Floyd and Frances Miller. Mr. Miller was a Baptist and an Army Veteran serving in Vietnam. He also was a retired firefighter section chief at University Park in Dallas for 31 years. Paul was a past commander of the Linden V.F.W.
He leaves behind his wife of 15 years, Rosemary Miller; one daughter, Bethany Miller and husband Brad Baldwin; one step-daughter, Crystal and husband Johnny Jones; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2022 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.
Paul was a genuinely nice guy that will be forever missed. RIP Soldier, you have earned your mansion. Prayers of comfort for Paul's family and friends.
Paul was a true friend and caring man, the world needs more like Paul.
I will miss Paul he was my brother in law for a number of years and a good friend also..Paul was quick to help when called upon and fun to be around also..he will be missed by all..
Heaven has gained another of my "brothers". Paul & Rose made Mike & I feel so welcome when we joined Linden VFW Post 6968. Paul was kind, caring, giving, honest, & funny. We will miss him.
You stood your post. Now, it's time to go home. Job well done soldier.

I worked with Paul miller at the firestation. I was a rookie and Paul treated good. He was a Awesome leader on the fire ground. His nick name was stick.

My condolences to Paul’s family. We were friends, fire fighters and paramedics together at University Park Fire Department for nearly 30 years. He was a good man and a great public servant to the community of University Park.
My thanks goes to him for serving our country through the military in Viet Nam and continuing his servitude to the citizens of University Park.
May the Good Lord rest his soul.
