William Rives

William Louis Rives, 87, of Pasadena passed away Thursday, September 19, 2013. He was born May 22, 1926 in Lakeview, Texas, to Arthur and Mollie Sisco Rives. He retired from Phillips Petroleum as an Administrative Manager. He served our country in the U.S. Army. Survivors include two sons, Rick Rives and wife, Vickie, of Pasadena and Danny Rives and wife Pam of LaPorte; one daughter, Joyce Kussad and husband Isam of Austin; ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; one infant son, Dennis Rives and one brother, Harold Rives. Graveside services will be at 10:00 am, Monday, September 23, 2013 at Linden Cemetery with Bro. Bob Money officiating. Interment will follow in Linden Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
