LINDEN-Funeral services for Willie Mutt Vollante Bledsoe, 89, of Longview, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Reeder-Davis Schindler Chapel in Linden with Rev. Jay Barnes officiating. Interment will be in Linden Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, August 15, 2011 from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Bledsoe was born September 16, 1921 in Linden to Joe O. Baker and Velma Wilkinson Baker. She passed away Saturday, August 13, 2011 in Longview. She was a homemaker and a member of Winterfield United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis H. Bledsoe, her parents and a sister, Virginia Hall. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Wanda Bledsoe of Longview and Baker and Judy Bledsoe of Linden; one sister, Bobbye Joe Hinson of El Dorado, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Lisa McKeller of Aurora, Colorado, Bobby Bledsoe, of London, England, Rhonda Gilmore of Rockwall, and Billy Bledsoe of Longview; six great grandchildren; and many other family and friends.

  4. There are no words to describe how broken my heart is. Nanny, you were the strongest person I have ever known & I am so thankful that Garrett got to know you. I never thought this would be it, I always expected you to make it through anything. But you can rest now and not worry about us. You are with Papaw again & I know you aren't weak or sick anymore. But that doesn't make my pain any easier. Garrett & I will always love you.
