Wilma Jo (Penny) Meadows, 84, died Thursday May 22 at Harker Heights Indian Oaks Living Center. She had lived in Belton, Texas for eight years pryer, but her home was Hughes Springs, Texas. Jo was born July 8, 1929 in Linden, Texas to the late Clyde and Lura Penny. Jo is survived by her children Linda Adams of Belton, Texas; Bobby Meadows of Omaha, Texas; LaJuan (Mitchell) Thompson of Belton, Texas; Patricia (Charles) Dickinson of Temple, Texas; Carolyn Fitzgearld of Hughes Springs, Texas; Kenny (Katie) Meadows of Belton, Texas. Five brothers and sisters Carrol W. Penny, Waylon Penny, Jane Hines, Cecil Penny, Geri Peters. Jo had 20 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 5 great great grand children. She was preceded in death by her husband Vince Lee Meadows, her son John Martin Meadows, two grandsons Tony Meadows and Jimmy Adams Jr. and a granddaughter Ginger Whitworth. Visitation will be Wednesday May 28th at 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the Reeder Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs, Texas. Grave side services will be held Wednesday 28th at 1:30 P.M. at Union Hill Cemetery following visitation.
