Services for Ms. Edvernell Moss will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Reeder-Davis Chapel under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.

Ms. Edvernell Moss was born February 23, 1937 in Cason, Texas to Archie Woods and Codella Leftwich. She passed away October 1, 2023 peacefully surrounded by her family. Edvernell was a Licensed Vocational Nurse for 30 years at Los Angeles County Hospital in Los Angeles, California. She was a member of the Frisco Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by siblings Arterry “Terry” Sanders, Louaria “Red” Grant, Clarence “Speedy” Woods, Archie Charles “AC” Woods, Andrew “June” Woods, Ruthary “Franchie” Woods-Sheppard, and Rushia Marie Woods-Cook, her niece Koleta “Peo” Woods and husband, Ira “Jack” Moss.

Ed is survived by one sibling, Herman Woods of Cason, TX along with one daughter, Kazette “Tunnie” Dickerson, a granddaughter, Brandi Grant, and two great-grandsons, Roston and Kohen Grant of Frisco, TX, along with 2 bonus daughters, Elanie O’Day and Jackie Schneider in California and a host of nieces and nephews; all of whom celebrate and honor her memory.
