Funeral services for Ms. Frances Anderson Morrow, age 96, of Ore City, will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 22, 2024, at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Ore City.  Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Ore City.  There will be a time of visitation from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Frances Anderson Morrow was born June 15, 1927, in Upshur County, Texas, to Franklin P. Anderson and Laura Carr Anderson.   She attended Red Oak Baptist Church in Longview.  Mrs. Morrow was a hard worker, who loved gardening, flowers, working in her yard, and fishing.  She retired from Lone Star Steel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willie Lee Morrow; brothers:  Starling Anderson, Jimmy Lee Anderson, Henry Anderson, Howard Anderson, Ervin Anderson, Arthur Lee Anderson,  Certis Parker, Cleo Anderson; sisters: Ozella Rockwell, May Lee Anderson.

Mrs. Morrow is survived by her son, Leon Morrow; sister, Pearl Criss; brother, Willie Lee Anderson; grandson, Patrick Stanton (Yolanda); four great-grandchildren:  Resheita Porter-Elliott, My-Shaila Stanton, My-Keivia Stanton, Mekalay Porter; five great-great-grandchildren:  Rhylei Porter, Mahki Porter, Rodrick Elliott, Jr., Reign Elliott, Rehgan Wilkerson.; a host of nieces and nephews.

She was truly the mother of the ushers and enjoyed her duty as Gods soldier who served countless times in the aisles of his temple. Always in our Hearts.
