Funeral services for Mr. Gary “Bush Hog” Gammill, age 77, of Linden, will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2024, in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.  Burial will follow at Linden Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Gary Gammill was born December 1, 1946, in Atlanta, Texas to Paul F. and Thelma Whately Gammill, and passed away Friday, February 16, 2024 in Texarkana, Texas.  He served in the United States Army.  He worked at Lone Star Steel for over 35 years and retired from there in 2003.  Commonly known as “Bush Hog”, Gary was a lifelong resident of Linden.  He was someone who would do anything for anyone to lend a helping hand.  Gary loved John Deere tractors and squirrel hunting, and most of all his loving family.

Mr. Gammill was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jaime Gammill; sister, Paula Simmons, and infant sister, Linda Gail Gammill.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Mrs. Judy Gammill; children:  Jennifer Renee Jones (Ed), Susan Coats (Don), Sandra Braeuninger, Thomas Braeuninger (Lisa); 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
