Burial will follow at Gum Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. Mrs. Bennie will lie in state for viewing from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2026, at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.
Ms. Mitchell passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026, in Atlanta, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. The full obituary will be announced as it becomes available.
