Funeral services for Jerry Lee Grisham, 67, of Naples, will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 8, 2013 at Reeder-Davis Chapel in Hughes Springs. Burial will follow at Old Sarepta Cemetery, in Sarepta, Louisiana. There will be a time of visitation from 6 until 8 Sunday evening at the funeral home. Jerry was born June 17, 1946 in Camden, Arkansas and passed away July 3, 2013 at a Tyler hospital. He grew up in Springhill, Louisiana and was a resident of Naples, Texas for 21 years. Mr. Grisham served in the Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He is preceded in death by his father, Buddy Grisham; a son, Christopher Grisham; and a granddaughter, Hayley. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Grisham; his mother, Delois Grisham; one son, Daniel Grisham and his wife Angela; two daughters, Jessica Morton and her husband John, and Amanda Patterson and her husband Tim; three step-children, Tommy Paddie, Elizabeth Paddie, and Lisa Morton; eight grandchildren, Baylee, Sean, Matthew, Sophia, Lilly, Jack, Emilie, and Jake; a great grandson, Brently; two sisters; and one brother.

I think of myself as lucky to have been able to have my stp dad in my life for 24 years..He was truly one of a kind that no other will ever take the place of !!! He seen me through some very hard times in life and he was there through the great times as well. I never truly thought he would be gone but now he has been called home. I will always miss and love him as well as think about him !! My daughter was lucky to have had him for 16 years he loved her since the day she was born 🙂 but now My new son and grandbabie will never get to know him as we did but they will be told very often that they was loved by him and what a great person that they have has a grandaddy. I can find peace in mind cause I know he is with my daughter sarah and they are watching down on us. Love you always DAD / aka Paw PAW
You leave it up to my mother to not get my name right for those of you who dont know its Lisa Harris and Jerry didnt just have 8 grandkids he had 10 cause my mother didnt seem to want to put down my 9 month old son Gunar Harris and would be as of yesterday 14 year old daughter Sarah Paddie she too passed away and now is with her grandpaw !!! My Baylee Paddie is my 16 teen year old daughter as well..My mother dont have much to do with me cause i dont buy into poor poor me act. Its sad Jerry didnt even get to see his family or kids because of my mother !!! When she wanted a new truck man o man she then wanted him to talk to his mom after years and years..Now she is playing the role again. I love jerry and always will and now he as peace after 25 years.
