Funeral services for Don C. Wilbanks, 69, of Cornett, will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 29, 2013 at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial will follow at Cornett Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, of Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 6 until 8, Thursday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Wilbanks was born March 21, 1944 and passed away March 25, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Dora Wilbanks. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Wilbanks, of Cornett; four sons, John Wilbanks and his wife Tara, of Longview, Tyson Penning and his wife Christi, of Joaquin, Texas, Keith Steward and his wife Laurie, of Hughes Springs, and Greg Steward and his wife Jeanette, of Manila, Arkansas; two daughters, Karrie Downs, of Tyler, and Michelle Billings and her husband Michael, of Cornett; 21 grandchildren; four great grand children; and one brother, Charles Abee and his wife Rita, of Dallas.

  7. My thoughts and prayers are with Don's family. I knew Don only a short time in high school but it was a privilege to know him.
